Terms and Conditions
Payment, tips, and deposits:
Payment is non-refundable unless it is an error on our part. Your payment guarantees and reserves your spot on our calendar. Reservations cannot be made without a deposit. In most cases we require full payment in advance. Payments made less than 10 days prior to your event pay be charged a $10 fee. Your deposit and or payment is determined when you place your order. In some cases balance due must be paid in cash to costume character(s) when they arrive to your event.
Tips are appreciated and not included in your balance. If you are paying balance due to a character, please pay with exact change, as characters do not carry cash.
We accept PayPal, (email@example.com), credit/debit over the phone, and cash only at Kids Station on Washington Avenue.
If you keep the entertainer beyond the scheduled time booked, you will be charged an additional $25.00 in cash per 25 minutes per character. There are no refunds once character arrives at the event or after the service has been performed. Due to the heaviness of the costume, the character(s) require one 5-minute break per hour.
Payment constitutes acceptance of terms and conditions.
Reservations, reschedules, and cancellations:
Reserve as far in advance as possible to ensure a spot on our calendar. If the event is canceled, we must be notified in writing via Facebook message, email, or text message. We will work with you the best we can if rescheduling is an option. No refunds will be given if purchaser cancels event.
If event is rescheduled by purchaser, there is no guarantee we will have a character available for your new date/time, but we will make a reasonable attempt. If you change the date/time for your event, and we do not have a character for your new date, the event is considered canceled by the purchaser, and there will be no refund.
We reserve characters, costumes, and supplies for the date and time of your request, and often have to turn away others who wished to book for that date.
If you have scheduled an outdoor event, please have an alternate plan in the event of inclement weather.
All activities and characters are subject to availability at the time booking payment is paid. We do not make any reservations without a deposit.
Set up time:
We require a few minutes to set up equipment. If your event requires it, we can set up 15-30 minutes early without additional charge.
Example: for a 9:00 a.m. birthday party, we may be in place as early as 8:30 a.m. at no additional charge. If your event requires us to set up more than 30 minutes prior, you will be charged for the additional time per entertainer present.
Minimum time to reserve a balloon artist, face painter, or entertainer is 60 minutes. Each of our entertainers can accommodate up to 25 people in this amount of time. If you anticipate more guests, you can hire our entertainers for longer.
We prefer not to create balloon art or paint faces outdoors in weather with temperatures lower than 50 degrees. If it is necessary to entertain an outdoor event with temperatures below 50 degrees we can only accommodate 10-15 guests per hour due to needing to stop to warm our hands. If you need us to entertain longer to accommodate more guests you must pay for the extra time.
Our artists and our supplies work much better in the shade – and your guests waiting in line will appreciate it as well! Anything you can provide to keep us and your guests cool will be greatly appreciated (tents, shade trees, fans, etc).
Samples and prototypes:
We may charge fees for requested samples of centerpieces. This fee goes toward materials to make the centerpiece and labor cost for the person creating it. The minimum service fee for a centerpiece prototype is $10.00. For this fee you may request up to three changes – beyond three and you will be charged another $10.00 fee.
Cancellation fees for decor:
All party decoration requests must be paid in full prior to inflation. All of our decorations are custom tailored pieces made especially for your event – we cannot reuse or resell them. Your cooperation is appreciated. If your event is cancelled after supplies have been purchased to decorate your event, you will be charged a cancellation fee.
Cancelling your event 7 days or less prior will result in a $20.00 cancellation fee. Cancelling your event 7 days or more prior will result in a $10.00 cancellation fee.
We have no control over the weather. We do not guarantee any outdoor decor. We will take steps to minimize the effects of the elements on your decor, but due to the nature of the materials, most decor will not stand up to wind, rain, excessive sun, high temperatures or other inclement weather.
We cannot guarantee decor set up within 10 feet of an outside door. Decorations can fog, warp, and deflate when exposed to temperatures from outdoors. Keep this in mind when choosing a venue.
Note: Tips are not included in the prices. If you would like to reward your performer for a great job, please feel free to do so. Tips are always appreciated, but not required.
